Trigrafik

The brief for this project was to create a modular typeface. I chose to make my typeface based on a triangular grid.

I initially drew out how I wanted to shape my letters and then digitised them to create the full alphabet and numbers. I then expanded this to create a printed specimen; for me, this was a book about the characteristics of my typeface, showing the process of how it was designed and how it could be used. I also created some social media posts and an animated video to show my typeface's characteristics.

I named it 'Trigrafik' because the typeface was designed from a triangular grid and had a graphic design feel to it.
